As much as I normally enjoy Cullen Bunn's work, and as much as I normally enjoy Deadpool-craziness, I really didn't enjoy this book.

Perhaps it was because the only way Deadpool could actually impale all the Marvel heroes and villains would exist if all their IQs suddenly dropped past a hundred-odd points... and, certain enough, that's exactly how all the characters human activity in this book.

Deadpool is brainwashed into killing off all the heroes of the Marvel universe. Very dark humor within. It's interesting to come across what Deadpool is thinking is happening in that messed up brain of his while he's creatively killing off the spandex oversupply of the Marvel universe. This one was slightly better than the last. Y'all can meet Deadpool's anger, and this i feels more in character than the other. Deadpool is extremely loyal, so I don't see him willingly killing his friends. This is still a kinda ane off, non a necessary volume to read, so unless you actually like Deadpool, like to read everything Marvel, or picked up the start one, it may not even be on your radar. Step aside Wolverine, there's a new mind-controlled teamkiller in town! Except this one isn't going to grow old on a farm while the earth'south baddies run amok for fifty years. He's going to be a little quicker about getting payback.

As far as supervillain schemes become, brainwashing just one guy into taking out the world's heroes feels a little half baked and kinda lazy. First off, it'southward already a gamble when the guy they picked has a volatile brain to begin with, what with all the regenerating tissue and overall nuttiness. Then they're really simply crossing their fingers that this new pawn of theirs can take down hundreds of heroes, many with with vastly superior skillsets. And to top it off, they don't put a fail safe in identify in example their guy goes rogue? This isn't Marvel's villains at their finest.

Also, why you gotta practise my male child M.O.D.O.K. like that?

This time around, Deadpool killing the Marvel Universe seems fifty-fifty more than contrived than last time. Instead of showcasing u.s.a. the artistic means in which Deadpool disposes of the likes of Thor and Luke Cage, many times nosotros're just shown the bloody aftermath. Both the villains and heroes are more than organized than last time and should be able to dispatch their merc problem with a little brainpower and a strategy that doesn't boil downward to "walk upwardly to Deadpool and announce your plans to fight." Just since it's a Deadpool Kills championship they all just sorta flop around aimlessly and die.

Junior to the original, but still a fairly enjoyable bloodbath.

Information technology was surprisingly an ok story with some fun moments, some aye-seen-it-once more on the previous mini-series moments and some neat artwork!

Someone is killing heros, the bodycount is ascension at an alarming rate. merely who is doing it?

Deadpool - under powerful mind control, he'south been brainwashed (think Wintertime Soldier) by the bad guys. Can anyone stop him - or plow his attention of the villians?

Wasn't as corking on the artwork on this one, only the different styles (as Deadpool believes he'due south going on adventures with different heros - he doesn't realise he'due south killing them), was quite a nifty thought.

Wasn't as 'fun' as the first. I actually finished this 1 feeling sorry and sorry for Deadpool. Information technology didn't even accept a satisfying ending, leaving the reader wondering.

Not the worst comic I've read but non the best ane either. This is a one-off AU where Deadpool once again kills the Marvel universe. I think the execution of the start comic was a lot better. This one had creative moments (view spoiler)[I liked how the art style would change while we were in Deadpool's head. (hide spoiler)], just in a lot of means it cruel flat.

I beloved Deadpool and this drove.... was very... shit. It was shit. In order to kill off all the Curiosity characters, their IQs and powers all of a sudden compress and they are no match for Deadpool... puhleaze. At least be inventive about it. As somewhat dizzy these Deadpool Kills books tend to exist, this turned out to exist a fairly interesting spin on the concept that gave more purpose to Deadpool's lethal actions versus a contrived plot device villain or whatever. Information technology's non exactly loftier literature, but information technology is quite clever how they came up with so many creative ways to kill Curiosity characters together with some very interesting Elseworlds-manner hallucinations for him that could have been fun spin-offs on their own in some cases. Closer to a iv than a two.
Information technology's a short but fun story that fixes a scattering of flaws in the original while also tying in to a whole other series (no spoilies)
Biggest flaw is even so the fact that most characters are killed in merely a few panels, and it really hurts the thrill of watching these characters fight. Overall, I'd recommend it if yous got a copy inexpensive, or just needed to kill a half 60 minutes in the city with coin to burn.

Why isn't this Punisher Kills the Marvel Universe? Because when Deadpool is killing everyone, he is hallucinating. And the hallucinations are kind of interesting. Merely the remainder of the book?
